I act as a photo documentarian, capturing the impromptu moments of beauty and humor from people, travels and special events. I try to find the essence of some place or object and delight when I feel I get closer.  I photograph the myriad of my life events -- capturing unscripted images, as opposed to following the say cheese movement.  In addition, I enjoy capturing quiet times, where only nature or the city surrounds me. Even in a crowd, I can find solitude with a camera.  Finally, I play tag-team photography with a friend, in which we share the fun of photographing our friends, lives and social situations.  My photography does not fit into one category, rather I feature many subjects such as travel, family, parades, nudes or barns.

In the previous two years, I have been included in several group shows in the Seattle area. In April of 2005, my work was displayed in the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival and the PONCHO Invitational Art Auction.

I volunteer with another local queer arts organization, Q Arts Seattle.  Q Arts, a program of the Seattle LGBT Community Center, works to provide a forum for the education, appreciation and preservation of the fine arts as they pertain to the LGBT community of Seattle.

I was born in Alabama, but moved to Seattle in 1989.  I still retain many of the charms of being a Southerner, alas without the accent.
